Collegedale To Host Veterans Day Celebration At Veterans Memorial Park Nov. 11

  • Friday, November 5, 2021

The City of Collegedale invites the public to a Veterans Day Celebration next Thursday honoring all members of the nation’s military.  The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park on Apison Pike.

This year’s Veteran’s Day Celebration program will feature members of the Collegedale Academy Band performing a selection of patriotic songs.  Various elected officials will also make special presentations honoring all veterans.

Guests attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.  In the event of bad weather, the celebration will be moved to the Collegedale Commons on Swinyar Drive.
