Juanita Delk
Juanita T. Delk, 71, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at her residence.
She was a 1968 graduate of Riverside High School and graduated from UTC with a degree in social work. She also received her master’s degree. Juanita was a member of the AKA Sorority, Inc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Thurman and Addie Edwards; grandparents, Wiley and Ada Edwards; and brother, Shelby Washington.
Survivors include her son, Damon (Carmen) Woodruff of Chattanooga; daughters, Dawn (Ken) Green of Hollywood, FL, Jamie Woodruff of Nashville, TN, and Jackie (Brian) Harden of Columbus, OH; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Frankie (Edward) Bass and Sarah Tooks, both of Chattanooga; special niece, Jevita Chapman; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
