Wilma Sparks Whitlock
Wilma Sparks Whitlock, 93, of Rocky Face, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at her residence.
She was a member of Rocky Face Baptist Church. Wilma was a Sunday school teacher for 44 years at Lucy Baptist Church. She loved her family and her dog, Bandit.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Whitlock; parents, Jesse and Velna Sparks; sisters, Sara Avery and Evelyn Reed; and brother, Jesse L. Sparks, Jr.
She is survived by daughter, Gloria Childress of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Kevin (Fran) Houston of Cumming, GA., and Scott (Christy) Houston of Rocky Face; great-grandchildren, Ansleigh Houston, Katelyn Houston and Evan Houston; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Joan, Barbara, Sally, Brittanie, Amanda and Selina for their love and care.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. at the Munford Funeral Home, Millington Chapel, in Millington, TN.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Munford Funeral Home.
The burial will be at Northridge Woodhaven.
