Marcella Newfelt, age 63, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Preece, and father, David Patton.
She is survived by her mother, Floda Mae Patton; sisters, Maryrose Frazier, Donna Patton, Dorothy McBee, Pat Rogers, and Linda Durham; brothers, Eric (Melissa) Patton, Howard Patton, Kenneth Patton, David “Buddy” Patton; and grandchildren, Derren Callahan, Shamon Stevens, Dallas Brown, Alissa Brown, Hayden Brown, Erica Brown and Tyler Brown.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 1 p.m. until the service hour at 3 p.m.
