BrightStar Care Of Chattanooga Receives 2021 Best Of Home Care Award

Saturday, February 20, 2021

BrightStar Care of Chattanooga announced that it has received the 2021 Best of Home Care  Leader in Excellence Award from Home Care Pulse. The Leader in Excellence Award is the highest recognition awarded by Home Care Pulse and is given to select home care businesses that consistently rank among the very highest in 10 or more quality metrics.

As a Leader in Excellence, BrightStar Care of Chattanooga is now ranked among the top 10 percent of home care providers participating in the nationwide Home Care Pulse Satisfaction Management Program (over 3,000 providers).

This accomplishment demonstrates BrightStar Care of Chattanooga’s long-term dedication to excellent care and quality improvement, said officials. Rick Collett, president of BrightStar Care of Chattanooga, said, “In 2012, we set our vision to become the home care agency of choice for all employees and clients in the Tri-State area. Now we have achieved that, but we will not stop there.”

To qualify for this award, 10 percent of BrightStar Care of Chattanooga’s clients and caregivers were interviewed each month by Home Care Pulse. Over a 12-month period, BrightStar Care of Chattanooga received high client and caregiver satisfaction ratings in areas such as caregiver training, compassion of caregivers, communication, scheduling, client/caregiver compatibility, etc. Using feedback from clients and employees, as well as quality benchmarks from Home Care Pulse and the Joint Commission, the BrightStar Care of Chattanooga management team set goals to reach the highest level of excellence possible.

“We have been fortunate in the past to win the Provider of the Year and the Employer of the Year," said Mr. Collett. "But to win the Leader in Excellence Award which is given to agencies who must win both Customer and Employer Awards in the same year and push it up one more level, truly shows the dedication of our team to both our customers and our employees.”

The Best of Home Care – Leader in Excellence Award highlights the top-performing home care businesses in the nation. Home Care Pulse believes that by honoring these providers, families looking for in-home care for a loved one will be able to recognize and choose a trusted home care provider.

“At Home Care Pulse, our mission is to help home care businesses create an experience that goes beyond client and caregiver expectations,” reported Erik Madsen, CEO of Home Care Pulse. “When we see agencies like BrightStar Care of Chattanooga that have made an effort to provide outstanding care and employment experiences, we know we’re on the right track. BrightStar Care of Chattanooga has worked extremely hard to provide high-quality care and employment, and their work hasn’t gone unnoticed. This award allows them to provide proof of quality to potential and new clients and caregivers.”

Because today I choose to live my life based on what brings me joy. When I realized that social media invited more dread than joy I knew what I had to do. Life’s moments really, really matter and looking at a screen ... (click for more)
