Brian Hickman Steps Down As Collegedale Police Chief

Collegedale Police Chief Brian Hickman offered his resignation on Tuesday, and it was accepted. 

It comes just after Collegedale City Manager Ted Rogers announced that he was retiring.

The last day for Chief Hickman will be Thursday.

City Manager Rogers "expressed his appreciation for Chief Hickman's many years of service to the city and its citizens."  

Chief Jack Sapp is now the acting chief of police.
