CBL Properties Welcomes Jim Henderson To Legal Team

CBL Properties on Monday announced that Jim Henderson has joined CBL’s in-house legal team as General Counsel – Real Estate Development after serving nearly 15 years at Husch Blackwell where he acted as outside counsel on numerous CBL projects.

“We are thrilled to officially welcome Jim to the CBL team,” said Jeff Curry, CBL’s chief legal officer. “His expertise in shopping center law, commercial real estate acquisition and development, leasing, residential real estate, and finance and commercial lending as well as his institutional knowledge of CBL will be a valuable asset to CBL’s in-house legal team.”

Recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in America by Real Estate Law from 2018-2021, Mr. Henderson has served as the lead project attorney for the development, acquisition, renovations and expansion of shopping centers located throughout the United States, he has also served as counsel for both landlords and tenants in a variety of real estate activities, including negotiating leases and related agreements. He earned his B.S., M.B.A., and J.D. at the University of Tennessee.
