County To Get $70 Million, City $40 Million From Latest Stimulus Package

Hamilton County will be getting about $70 million and the city of Chattanooga about $40 million from the latest COVID-19 stimulus package, officials said.

County Mayor Jim Coppinger said the money would go to COVID-related items, including operating several vaccination sites, testing, and buying supplies.

Agencies that may get some of the funds include the Health Department and Emergency Management.
