Lucille Womble
Lucille "Cil" Few Womble, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at her residence.
She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Womble.
Survivors include her daughters, Yvonne R. Woodruff and Kimberly L. Petty-Womble; five grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter (Ocie) Few, Jr. and Alphonso (Vernell) Few; sisters, Martha A. Adams and Betty McDonald; all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Lucille will lie in state on Friday, March 19, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Bishop Kevin L. Adams, Sr. as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
