Taurus Tyrone Hill
Taurus Tyrone Hill, age 44, of Dalton, Georgia, and son of Willie and Connie Winfrey, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
He was born Dec. 13, 1976 to Willie Forrest and Constance “Connie” Lynette Winfrey Hill. He was a member of Community Fellowship Church of Ministries and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded by his grandparents, Luscious and Lillie Augusta Hill, Clarence W. and Alice M. Winfrey; and sister, Bridget D. Hill.
He is survived by his loving family, children, Alicia, Cedric, and Aaliyah Hill; parents, Willie and Constance Hill; wife, Amanda Hill; sisters, Andrea Hill and Almetha McCollins; brothers, Unterryo (Lisa) Hill and Ivis McNeal; aunts, Brenda Hill, Dessie Mitchell, and Dorothy Hill; uncles, Donnie Hill, John (Deborah) Gunther, Sr., and Jeffery Winfrey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Following the guidelines of COVID-19, the family is enforcing that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Funeral service will be Friday, March 12, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Pastor David Thomas as eulogist.
He will lie in state Thursday, March 11, after 12 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
