105.1 Switching From Sports To Religious Format After Sale By Brewer Media

Brewer Media has sold its 105.1 frequency that has had an ESPN lineup for a number of years.

It was sold to the American Family Association, which will switch 105.1 to religious broadcasting.

Brewer Media officials said, “This move will allow us to better concentrate our efforts and resources..

“ESPN Chattanooga will remain with Brewer Media Group.  We will be moving ESPN to one of our other signals.  We have great enthusiasm for the format and will be enhancing our efforts by expanding its local footprint in the market.  We want to continue to be the source in Chattanooga for all sports on all expertise levels.”

Brewer Media owns four other stations and also owns the Chattanooga Traffic Network and The Pulse newspaper.
