The team of Candy Feher, Lynn McGee, Judy Mabe and Evelyn Marie Williams posted a round of 12-under to take opening day honors for the Chattanooga Women's Golf Association's season at
the Battlefield Golf Course.
Phyllis Loftsgard, Lindsay Berry, Vickie Cooke and Sue Chamberlain were second at 9-under. There was a tie for third with two teams finishing at 7-under. These were Linda Carter, Leslie Nelson, Gwen Ward and Pat Snyder along with the team of Patty Donahoo, Lisa St. Charles, Patricia Stamper and Judy Acuff.
