Erlanger Sports Medicine team physicians have scheduled two May dates for pre-participation sports physicals for the 2021-2022 school year. The physicals will be held at the Erlanger Sports and Health Institute on E. Third Street on May 1 and May 15 from 8 a.m.-noon, with no appointment required.
Annual pre-participation sports physicals are important for all athletes to help identify any issues or concerns prior to increased activity. However, sports physicals should not replace your annual physical with your personal family physician or pediatrician.
Erlanger affiliated schools’ athletes in grades nine through 12 are free and grades six through eight are $15.
Erlanger currently provides athletic trainers for all Hamilton Country high schools, as well as Lafayette High School, Ringgold High School, Ridgeland High School, Baylor School, Chattanooga Christian School, McCallie School, Bryan College and Covenant College.
Physicals will take place at the Erlanger Sports and Health Institute, 1100 E. Third St. in Suite G-102.
