Reba Hollis
Reba Jean Roshell Hollis, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021, in a Nashville hospital.
She was a 1965 graduate of Howard High School. “Reba Jean”, as she was affectionately called, retired from RHA Health Services.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Carrie Wyatt Roshell and Simon Roshell, Sr.; sisters, Eva Lou Roshell-Morgan and Earlene Roshell-Baker; brothers, Fred Mcquine, Willie Mcquine, Clayton Roshell Sr, and LeOwens Roshell; and niece, Anita Denise Morgan.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Rev. Anthony Hollis; daughters, Ia Isbell-Elder, Jonn (Alfred) Isbell-Hubbard, and ShonNeeka (Samuel) Isbell-Wright; son, Gavin Isbell; eight grandchildren, Ia J. Elder, Justin L. Elder, Quanisha Wright, Taylor Johnson, Bricia Wright, Jordan Hubbard, Jaylin (Nia) Hubbard, and Samuel Wright; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Simon Roshell, Garry (Lillie) Roshell, and Nathaniel Roshell; sisters-in-love, Joyce Clark, Valerie Ellis and Julie Jones; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Reba will lie in state on Saturday, April 10, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
A homegoing celebration will be on Sunday, April 11, at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
She will be laid to rest on Monday, April 12, at 10:30 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
