Hamilton County Has No More Coronavirus Deaths, 35 New Cases; Tennessee Has 16 More Deaths

Hamilton County had 35 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, bringing the total to 44,618. There have been no more deaths from the virus, and the total is 495 in the county. 

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 43,581, which is 98 percent, and there are 542 active cases.

There are 37 patients hospitalized and 10 in Intensive Care Units. Seven more are hospitalized with suspected cases of COVID.  Of those hospitalized, 12 are county residents. 

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is at 854,918 on Tuesday with 655 new cases. There have been 16 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 12,292 State Health Department officials said.

The state currently has 684 people hospitalized from the virus, which is 40 fewer than on Monday. 

Testing numbers are above 7.776 million across the state.

The number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in Tennessee is 833,736, which is 98 percent.

Bradley County:  15,073 cases, up 11; 151 deaths, up 1

Grundy County: 1,793 cases; 34 deaths

Marion County: 3,129 cases, up 1; 47 deaths

Meigs County: 1,390 cases; 25 deaths

Polk County: 2,081 cases, down 1; 24 deaths

Rhea County: 4,353 cases; 75 deaths

Sequatchie County: 1,707 cases, up 5; 29 deaths

Knox County: 50,954 cases, up 158; 636 deaths, up 1

Davidson County: 89,499 cases, up 34; 940 deaths, up 2

Shelby County: 96,058 cases, up 90; 1,622 deaths
