Leonard Jackson, Sr., was born on February 24, 1940, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Charlie and Lena Jackson. He went home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 7, 2021.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Lee Robinson, Irene Jackson, Edna Mae Jackson, and Ellen Virginia Jackson; brother, Charlie Jackson, Jr. (Bopete).

He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. Elmo Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from Mor-Flo.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Elenora P. Jackson; daughters, Barbara Jackson, Twana (Edward) Jackson; sons, Anthony Jackson, Leonard (Stacie) Jackson Jr.; one brother, Milton Jackson; stepchildren, Grayland Ball and Sandra Thrasher; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Monday, June 14, at the funeral home, followed by a 11:30 a.m. graveside service. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens - East.
