Baylor's Berzon, Sequatchie's Edgmon On MaxPreps' First Team All-America Team

Baylor's Syd Berzon and Sequatchie County's Addy Edgmon, both juniors, were players from Tennessee included on MaxPrep's 26-player first team All-American softball list.

Edgmon's 87 RBIs ranked first nationally among players with numbers on MaxPreps and her 17 home runs, 65 runs, and eight triples ranked in the top 50.  Her batting average was .540 going 68 for 126. 

Berzon, an LSU commit, was barely hittable in going 17-0 with a state title.

She pitched 177 innings with 179 strikeouts for an ERA of 0.47.  At the plate she held a batting average of .389.
