As Hamilton County residents begin their post pandemic life, officials of East Lake Expression Engine have been busy planning their 7th Annual Summer outdoor concert to celebrate the county’s reopening, renewal, and hope.  The concert, entitled “Something About Hope", will take place on Friday, July 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Crabtree Farms, 1000 E. 30th St.

Students between the ages of  4-18 will showcase original music of “hope” through their performances in the orchestra, choir, bucket band.

Admission to the concert is free; however, a love offering will be collected. Proceeds will benefit students enrolled in East Lake Expression Engine’s after school music program.

The program offers holistic music training to talented students in the East Lake community. Students sing in the choir, play in bucket band, and have classes in music theory and composition as well as learn instruments in ensembles. Every week, students have approximately eight hours of music instruction.  This intensive musical instruction is offered to students at no charge.
