A controversial facility in Highland Park for migrant children has sued the state to have its license reinstated.

The Baptiste Group filed the complaint in Davidson County Chancery Court.

It is lodged against the Department of Children's Services and its commissioner, Jennifer Nichols.

The state revoked the license at the former Tennessee Temple dorm.

Two employees of the facility have been charged with inappropriate contact with children there.
