Isaiah 41:10
King James Version
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

This verse was sent to me from Jim Barclay in an encouragement card when I needed it big time. It reassured me that I was in God's hands and that He is in control. The Bible says 365 times not to fear or be afraid. That's more than one time a day.

God will take you away from this earth when it is your time to go. My students used to ask me if we were in the end of times. My answer was, my end could be at any time so I better be ready now. (fall down steps, car wreck, stroke, etc.)

How many of you know of miscarriages, stillbirths or babies passing on after birth? How many of you know of murders, accidental deaths, suicides and just not knowing exactly how someone actually died?

People die of health issues. I still don't understand why cancer hasn't been cured. Then add on heart disease, diabetes, AIDS, hepatitis, kidney and liver failure. The list goes on.

Sometimes, when God takes a person, we are warned that they might not be here much longer, sometimes they are gone in the blink of an eye. Nobody can predict the exact time of death but the Lord. Love everyone and live in the present. We aren't promised tomorrow.

People survived the Spanish flu, if not, none of us would be here. My great-grandfather was a doctor (who I know saw patients with this flu) and my grandmother was 10 or 11 years old at this time. There were very few antibiotics at that time and they survived. It wasn't their time to go.
Germs are everywhere. A virus is smaller than a bacteria. Wash your hands often but live your life. Stop being afraid. Enjoy being with others. None of us know the day we will die on earth. God is in control. He is The Creator and we are His creation. Love the life you live and live the life you love.
God is good. Jesus said, Call upon the Name of the Lord and you will be saved. May the Holy Spirit give you comfort and peace.

God helps those who help themselves.  God gave us free will to make our own decisions and how we use it can range from brilliant to downright stupid.  God also gave brains to the scientists who chose to spend their lives trying to make our lives better.  We have an entire generation that has enjoyed a healthier lifestyle, thanks to science and vaccines....polio, smallpox, diphtheria, whooping cough, mumps, measles, shingles, flu, and pneumonia. . I received many of those vaccines myself and suffered no negative consequences and lost no freedoms.

But I digress, back to God and free will; stupid decisions may result in some of us going before 'our time.'  Trust the science.  Wear the mask and get vaccinated.
