Kim Clowers
Kimberly “Kim” Jo DeMary Clowers, 60 of Soddy Daisy, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021, in a local hospital.
Kim was born in Fairmont, WV, and attended Fairmont State University before moving to Chattanooga. She earned her associate's degree in nursing from Chattanooga State Community College and worked for many different healthcare companies as a nurse. Most recently she worked for Maxim Healthcare and was an EMT with the city of Red Bank. Kim enjoyed playing the piano, reading poetry, cross stitching, and taking care of her beloved cats. She was known as the family historian and could tell you anything about the family’s roots. Kim was also very patriotic and loved her country dearly. She was a kind and generous woman who donated to help animals and was also an organ donor herself. Kim is leaving behind a selfless legacy and will be remembered for her servant’s heart.
Kim was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee “Speedo” Clowers; parents, Joseph A. DeMary and Laurelle “Lou” DeMary Hustead.
Survivors include her siblings: Joanne DeMary, Joe “Jo-Jo” DeMary (Beverly Sutton), and Julie DeMary; step-father, Lee Hustead; nieces and nephews: Amanda DeMary (Chris) Songer, Ashley DeMary, Joseph DeMary, and A.J. DeMary; great nieces and nephew: Krisily Songer, Callie Songer, and Colden Layne; and fur baby, Willow.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
