Tracy Wood
Cempa Community Care announced Tuesday that the organization has welcomed Tracy Wood and Amanda Johns to its board of directors. Ms. Wood currently serves as president and CEO at Alleo Health System, a regional hospice and integrated senior care service provider based in Chattanooga. Ms. Johns directs the People First Solution Center at the Tennessee Valley Authority, leading a team of human resource professionals to meet the HR needs of TVA’s 10,000+ employees.
“As we continue to execute on the ambitious growth plans we have for our organization, it is imperative that we are surrounded by proven leaders who are willing to share their experience and expertise with us,” said Shannon Stephenson, CEO at Cempa Community Care.
“Tracy’s work at Alleo Health System is a testament to her leadership acumen, and she has long been an incredible partner to Cempa. Amanda’s HR prowess is well-known and will be an essential asset we’ll have to draw on as we grow our own headcount and seek out streamlined ways to meet the needs of our ever-growing patient base. I am excited to have both of these powerful women on our team.”
Ms. Johns is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she earned a BS in psychology and an MS in industrial-organizational psychology. Ms. Woods completed her undergraduate education at Fordham University with a BA in psychology, and she earned an MPA with a concentration in healthcare administration from Grand Canyon University.
Both Ms. Johns and Ms. Wood are slated to serve three-year terms with Cempa.
