Leadership Fundraiser of the Year: Daisy Maurya- Ballard
Outstanding Philanthropist Award: Friends of Special Children
“The Association of Fundraising Professionals are excited to celebrate and honor the individuals, corporations, and groups of people who have invested in our community during these difficult times," said Susan Day, chair, NPD 2021.
“We can recount the myriad of catastrophic events of 2020; the global pandemic, natural disasters, mandated shutdowns and unemployment that plagued our country, our community," said E'tienne Easley, chair assistant, NPD 2021. "Despite the devastation of those unprecedented events, we saw our community's altruism heal our city. Corporations donated funds, businesses provided supplies, youth took on food and water drives, and churches served as safe havens for displaced families. Without these groups, without their assistance, many communities would have suffered at a much greater rate.”
Tables begin at $500 and tickets are $50 each. Tables and tickets are available for this luncheon event. Please visit https://community.afpnet.org/setn/home to purchase. For more information contact Susan Day at Susandday24@gmail.com.
