A pair of road closures were announced by the Hamilton County Highway Department Thursday:
South Dent Road will be closed from 8:30 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Sept. 23 to repair a water line leak. The closure will be in the 7000 block. This is from Boy Scout Road To the intersection with Coffelt Road.
The work installing a drain tile at 7204 South Dent Road was delayed because of the rain this week, so that work is ongoing. In that closure, the road will be closed to all traffic from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Thursday Sept. 23, Friday Sept. 24 and also Monday Sept. 27.
After 2 p.m. on those days, at least one lane will be open to traffic with flaggers present. Delays should be anticipated.
Detours are posted to Boy Scout Road to the south and Gann Road to the north and those detours will work for both closures.
