Shirley Long
Shirley Deen Long, 75, of LaFayette, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021.
She was a member of Noble Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Eugene Long; and her parents, Joe Willie Chapman and Pauline Hammitt Chapman.
She is survived by her son, Tony Long; grandchildren, Brandon, Dawson, Aaron, and Cassondra Long; great grandson, Brayden Long; ; sister, Paula (Randall) Anderson; brother, Freddie Chapman; niece, Natasha Walton; and great niece, Michaelie Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Ministers Jack Byers and Tommy Pettyjohn officiating.
Interment will be at LaFayette Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are Dawson Long, Brandon Long, David Long, Dexter Wallin, Wayne Samples, and Mike Smith.
Honorary pallbearer will be her great grandson, Brayden Long.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 12 p.m. until hour of service.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
