Hedgecock Triumphant At I-75 Stopping Johnson's Win Streak

Cory Hedgecock of Loudon won Friday nights Topless Outlaw Late Model series race at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater. The $3,000 victory is the 13th of his career with the series and puts a halt to Ronnie Johnson's four consecutive race win streak.

The Chattanoogan two time Dirt Track World Champion finished seventh Friday just behind Soddy Daisy's Jordan Rodabaugh.

The series heads to Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville Saturday, along with the Southern All-Stars Super Late Models. Racing starts at 7 p.m.
