Georgia Has 22,102 More COVID Cases And 220 Additional Deaths

Georgia state health officials reported on Tuesday there have been 220 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 20,258.

There are 22,102 new cases as that total reaches 1,134,891 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Hospitalizations are at 74,717, which is an increase of 472 from Friday.

Here are the numbers by county, last updated on Friday:

Catoosa County: 7,337 cases, up 191; 73 deaths, up 2; 281 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 3,034 cases, up 110; 69 deaths, up 1; 210 hospitalizations, up 2

Dade County: 1,618 cases, up 30; 14 deaths; 65 hospitalizations

Walker County: 8,421 cases, up 207; 88 deaths, up 1; 318 hospitalizations, up 2

Whitfield County: 17,689 cases, up 276; 255 deaths, up 6; 847 hospitalizations, up 4
