Larry Ransom
Larry Carlton Ransom, Jr., 38, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
He attended Tyner High School. He was a joyous person, who always kept a smile on his face.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Howard Ransom Sr., and Nannie Ransom; aunt, Kathleen Holloway; cousins, Willie Birdsong Jr., and LaShonda Schreane.
Survivors include his father, Larry (Sandra) Ransom Sr.; mother, Pamela Burks; sisters, Carlmela Ransom and Cherrelle Burks; brothers, Darrell Burks and Cornelius Burks; aunts, Druehelen (Edward) Casteel, Patricia Schreane, Carolyn Edmondson, and Sandra Charles; uncles, William Ransom, Jr., and Sherman Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and other friends.
Larry will lie in state on Thursday, Jan. 20, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Gerald Spence, Sr., as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
