Barbara A. Blanton
Barbara A. Blanton, 88, of Ooltewah, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Ms. Blanton was born and raised in Atlanta. She married James in 1952. She moved to Ooltewah in 1958 and was a member of Ooltewah United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Swann Blanton; daughter, Rebecca Cannon; and son-in-law, Thomas Johnson.
Surviving are her daughters, Lynn Johnson and Diana (Steve) Floyd; son-in-law, Johnny Cannon; sister, Sally McDowell; grandchildren, Sarah (Jared) Hartman, James (Felicia) Johnson, Bradley (Leslie) Cannon, Chris Cannon; and great-grandchildren, MacKenzie and Katelyn Hartman, Charlotte, Samuel and Lenora Johnson and Hamilton Cannon.
There will not be any visitation at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be at noon on Monday, Jan. 24, at Greenwood Cemetery, 1173 Cascade Circle SW, Atlanta, Ga. 30311, with Minister Allan Thames officiating.
