Lear Gray, 72, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, in a local health care facility.

 

Lear worked as a teacher’s assistant for the City of Chattanooga.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie Hazel Johnson; father, Willie Lee Walker; sisters, Hazel Lee Nash, Johnnie Bell Bennett, and Martha Elizabeth Walker.

 

Survivors include her sons, Hosea McClarty and Terrance McClarty, both of Chattanooga; daughters, Tara Ferrell, of Canton, Ga., Nicole Parker, of Belleville, Il., and Summer McClarty, of Chattanooga; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
