William Thomas “Buck” Emerson, Jr.
William Thomas “Buck” Emerson, Jr., 83, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 in a local health care facility.
He was the son of the late William Thomas and Delta Hamby Emerson and was also preceded in death by his sisters, Eula Mae Dowker, Betty Pelfrey, Dorothy Grisham and Laura Wilson; and brother, Charles Edward Emerson.
He had been a resident of Life Bridges for over 33 years.
He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Eugene Emerson (Linda); sisters, Lelah Joyce Elrod, Pansy Jane McIntosh and Pat Flanary (Jim); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave. Chapel with Reverend Jen Newell officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with K.C. Emerson, Rodney Emerson, Kenney Emerson, Stan Bethune, Mike Stewart and Sean Green serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearer will be Ted Bryson.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
