Nancy R. Mabry, 84, of Red Bank, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022.

 

She was a long-time member of Red Bank church of Christ where she taught Bible to small children. She was a graduate of Red Bank High School, class of 1955. She worked at Norfolk Southern for 41 years. After retirement she volunteered at local elementary schools and at Pet Placement Center. 

 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Lucile Ellis Mabry, two infant brothers and her grandparents, George H. and Mary Hudson Mabry, Fred B. and Ella Jones Ellis.

 

Nancy is survived by stepchildren, Susan (Rory) Morgan, Lynn (Bob) Carden, Dwayne (Kim) Collins and Eddie (Angie) Collins.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 31, at noon in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home officiating will be Minister Steve Lusk and Minister Tommy Stone.

 

Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home chapel.

 

There will be no graveside services.  

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to In Search of the Lord’s Way in Edmond OK (searchtv.org) or Potter Children’s Home and Family Ministries in Bowling Green, KY (Potterministries.org) or a favorite charity for animals.  Special thanks to the workers at Brookdale Hixson for the loving care shown to Nancy.
