Sylvia Sue Ferrell McGaha, 83, of LaFayette, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. She attended Wood Station Baptist Church and LaFayette First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon McGaha; grandson, Clinton Chapman; parents, Sam and Jettie Ferrell; two sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by daughters, Dana (Gary) Chapman and Angie (Doug) Ingram; grandchildren, Lauren (Ryan) Lawrence, Kurt (Casey) Ingram, and Cole (Asberri) Ingram; great-grandchildren, Parker Lawrence and Tannyn Ingram; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Randall Massengill and Rev. David Autry officiating.
Interment in the LaFayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Cole Ingram, Kurt Ingram, Gary Chapman, Doug Ingram, Ryan Lawrence and Tommy McGaha.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
