Toe The Line No More

  • Thursday, October 27, 2022
For two decades I "toed the party line" due to my position. Since the August 2010 Primary, that has not been the case.

I'm sick and tired of letter writers belittling a candidate because they have no experience. Who cares? Look what has happened to people in office who have had experience in politics, campaigns, etc.

I look at a candidate and see what I can find out about them for myself.
I would never be able to agree 100 percent with someone, so why should I vote 100 percent with a party that I probably have at least one disagreement with?

I did vote for Governor Lee again, but I also voted Democrat in the other races and also included my favorite write-In candidate, Basil Marceaux in one race.

That's the beauty of a General Election...I can vote for whoever I want to...and not give a rip what others think. Vote your conscious.
