Longtime Ringgold-area furniture dealer, Linderman’s Furniture, donated over $10,000 in home furnishings to East Ridge Residence as part of a new partnership with the independent senior living community at 1417 North Mack Smith Road.

“We can’t thank John Linderman and his company enough for the amount of joy they have delivered to East Ridge Residence,” said Amy Silvers, executive director. “He has a heart for this community and I couldn’t be more honored that his kindness and generosity will be a blessing to our residents for many years to come.”

Linderman’s Furniture donated sofas, chairs and other home furnishings for several common areas at the community, such as the entry foyer, model rooms and library.

“I’ve always had a special place in my heart for East Ridge Residence. My grandmother was a resident there for many years,” said Mr. Linderman, owner of the furniture store. “So when the idea of a partnership first came up, I knew we wanted to do this because I’ve always wanted to see this place thrive.”

“It’s so wonderful to have community partners like Linderman’s Furniture who go above and beyond in their support for East Ridge Residence,” said Jessica Harthorn, community relations director. “Every day I see our residents enjoying the new furniture throughout the community and the light in their eyes says it all. We are so grateful for Linderman’s generosity.”
