Robert A. "Bobby" Meserve went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 30, 2022.

Bobby was born and raised in Knottsville, Ky. He moved to the Sequatchie Valley area in 1989 for his work. He was a lineman and a foreman for many companies in the area. Bobby then met the love of his life Barbara. He become a very proud dad to Brian, poppy to Brian II, Michael, Elliot and Addi Kate. Bobby was a very dedicated family man and friend. He was always helping someone and very seldom let anyone return the help he had given. Bobby was very passionate about kids. He had many rewards before he left us by going on outages and getting peoples power restored. He was very passionate about Donate Life. He was true friend and family man.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother Cecil Meserve and his father Emmitt Meserve. His stepson Christopher Michael Evans and his Great Grandson Tate Evans. Brothers William Meserve, Jake (Loretta) Meserve, Jerry (Jerrita) Meserve, Larry Meserve and Wavy Meserve; brother-in-law, Melvin Hagan.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Barbara Broom Meserve and Stepson Brian (Stephanie) Evans of Jasper, TN. Brother Patrick “Boonie” (Rosemary) Meserve. Sisters Wanda Lanham, Clara (Dick) Johnson, Katie Christian, Linda (Allen) Howard, Murty Hagan (Paul Gray). Sister in law Sherry Meserve Troutman all of Knottsville, Ky.; grandsons, Brian (Lindsey) Evans II and Michael Evans of Jasper, Tn.; great-grandchildren, Elliot Wayne Evans, Addison Kate Evans and expecting the arrival of Rhett Evans.

Family will receive friends from 4–7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
