Aileen “Neen” Dixon Raley
Aileen “Neen” Dixon Raley, 98, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.
Aileen was born on Sept. 23, 1924, in Athens, Tn., to the late Cleave Hobart Dixon and Mildred Stiles Dixon. She married her husband, Graham, in Spartanburg, S.C. on Sept. 5, 1942. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, and a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Graham DeWitt Raley; her twin brother, Calvin Dixon and his wife Dorothy; brother, Hobart E. Dixon and his wife Edna; and sister, Nancy Dixon Freeland.
She is survived by her son, Jerry DeWitt Raley and wife, Gula; granddaughter, Leslie Raley Stevison and husband Dustin; great-grandsons, Drake Weathers and Brody Stevison; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Nolan Phillips Sr. officiating. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in her name to Adoration Home Health of Cleveland, 2765 Executive Park Drive NW, Cleveland, TN 37312, for the excellent and compassionate care given to Aileen.
