The Signal Mountain Office of Real Estate Partners Chattanooga LLC introduced an annual Christmas window decorating contest on Signal Mountain in 2019.

“Signal Mountain is our own little Mayberry, and we’re proud of it,” said Signal Mountain Managing Broker Desiree Tombul. “The real estate agents in our office wanted to bring more holiday cheer to the mountain and the window contest was born! It was a success right away, and we’re so happy it’s become a tradition.”

Over 20 Signal Mountain businesses participate in the contest each year. Beginning after Thanksgiving each participating business decks out its windows or front entrance. The community is invited to visit ChristmasonSignal.com to cast their vote for their favorite display, and the winning business gets a free full-page ad in the Signal Mountain Mirror.

Past winners include Animal Hospital of Signal Mountain and State Farm Insurance.

“Our staff comes together to decorate, and the positive feedback from customers on and off the mountain is fun! We love the beauty and excitement of the holiday decorations and the joy it brings to our staff and the community,” said Sarah Baker at Animal Clinic of Signal Mountain.

These displays of holiday cheer aren’t just for Signal Mountain residents. “We want everyone to know they’re invited," said Ms. Tombul. "Whether you’re from Hixson, Cleveland, or North Georgia, the mountain’s business community invites you to enjoy the scenes found throughout Signal Mountain this year. You don’t even have to get out of your car."

Load up the car and take a drive to the businesses listed below. Then cast a vote for the favorite display. Although Real Estate Partners Chattanooga can’t win themselves, they invite the public to stop by their office at 811 Ridgeway Ave C on Signal Mountain to enjoy their Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer themed display designed by Mary Griffith of Simply Staged LLC.

"Find joy in the season this year and support local businesses this Christmas," said Darlene Brown, founder and president of Real Estate Partners Chattanooga. "Every dollar you spend at one of our amazing small businesses makes a difference in local people’s lives. We’re so proud of the Signal Mountain agents for bringing such a fun tradition to Signal Mountain and Chattanooga.”
