Slothrust Will Play At Barking Legs Dec. 10

  • Thursday, December 1, 2022

Local organization Soft Animal is bringing indie rock band Slothrust to play Barking Legs Theater on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Tickets are more than halfway sold out, so anyone looking to see a unique, intimate rock show should reserve a spot now, said officials.

“I describe them as prismatic grunge rock,” Soft Animal co-founder Charity Painter said about Slothrust. “The show is going to be electric and invigorating — a very intimate rock and roll experience.”

Local favorite emo rock band MoonKalf is opening.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the show at 8 p.m. Admission is $20.

About Soft Animal:
Soft Animal is a local organization that aims to center marginalized people, including Black people, Deaf people and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The organization intentionally creates safe spaces through a series of curated events ranging from hip hop shows and hikes to American Sign Language classes and a standing-room only drag show.

Starting again in January, it is offering Deaf-taught American Sign Language 101 + 102. More information is available here
