Upcoming Road Closings Announced

  • Thursday, December 1, 2022

Here are upcoming road closings:

Ochs Highway at St Elmo Avenue

Ochs Highway between St Elmo Avenue and W 41st Street will be closed Friday, from 9 a.m. until noon for water main repairs. Due to sharp curvature over the detour route, all northbound tractor-trailer/coach bus traffic will be directed off Ochs Highway toward Scenic Highway. Standard-sized vehicles and trucks will follow the detours signs posted via Alabama Avenue and W 42nd Street.

E 17th Street - S Lyerly Street

The following streets will see temporary, rolling closures as a home relocates to a new property. These rolling closures will take place Friday, between 9:30 a.m. and noon at the following locations:

  • E 17th Street between S Lyerly Street and S Watkins Street

  • S Watkins Street between E 17th and E 19th Street (Intersections with E 18th Street and E 18th Place will close briefly)

  • E 19th Street between S Watkins Street and S Lyerly Street

  • S Lyerly Street between E 19th Street and E 21st Street

900 Block Graysville Road

The 900 block of Graysville Road will be closed on Tuesday, from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. for sewer repair. Detours will be posted.

All construction projects are weather permitting.
