Brian Patterson, age 59, passed away, Saturday, February 5, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Barry Patterson.

Brian played football at Lafayette High School and college football at The University of North Alabama. He served in the National Guard. He coached football at Dalton High School and for the past 17 years at Ridgeland High School. He taught Special Education where he impacted and touched the lives of countless students. He loved his children and grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Roo.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Katie (Gordon) Cisney of Marietta; son and daughter-in-law, Jake (Samantha) Patterson of Chattanooga, parents, David and Sue Patterson of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Beth (Matt) Evans of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Brad (Angela) Patterson of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Charlotte and Nora Cisney; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 12, at 4 p.m. at Rock Bridge Community Church - Stage 123, 123 West Gordon Street, Dalton, GA 30720, with Rev. Matt Evans officiating and Jake Patterson and Katie Cisney giving eulogies.

The family will receive friends at Rock Bridge Community Church -Stage 123, Saturday, Feb. 12, from 2 p.m. until the service time at 4 p.m.
