Arctic Burst Brings Bitter Cold, Some Snow To Chattanooga Area

An Arctic burst of cold air brought plunging temperatures and some snow to the Chattanooga area overnight on Saturday.

Temps dropped from the high 50s to the low 20s in a matter of hours.

It was due to climb back near the freezing mark before going down into the teens on Saturday night.

With sunny skies on Sunday, warmer temps were in the offing.
