The new ID. Buzz microbus from Volkswagen was recently unveiled in New York City
Volkswagen is considering expanding its Chattanooga plant to build an electric pickup truck and the new ID. Buzz microbus, according to reports.
The new plant would be next to the existing facility at the Enterprise South Industrial Park.
VW is also mulling the construction of a new battery plant that could also be at the local site.
The ID. Buzz was recently put on display in New York City after earlier being unveiled in Austin, Tex.
