Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Doyle Wayne Sutton, 75, passed away May 13, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Doyle was born on Jan. 28, 1947, and spent his life working in the forest products industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otha and Rama Sutton, and infant son, Rodney Wayne Sutton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Morgan Sutton; son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Terri Sutton; daughter, Julie Sutton and fiancée Scott Gulledge; granddaughters, Shaylen Sutton and Tristyn Sutton; and granddog, Herschel; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Sara Sutton, all of Dalton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Barbara Wright, Mary Ruth and Robert Hise, Elaine and Alan Sane, Fred and Sandra Morgan, Carolyn and Wayne Pittman, and Billy Morgan. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hunter Worley Foundation, P O Box 187, Ringgold, Ga 30736 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 16, at Grove Level Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. until the service hour at 2 p.m.

Mr. Sutton will be laid to rest at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
