Tennova Healthcare - Cleveland and University Surgical Associates are now working together to offer extended vascular care services. Vascular specialists focus on the diagnosis and treatment of all diseases of the arteries, veins and lymphatic systems such as aneurysms, carotid artery disorders and peripheral arterial disease.

With the addition of vascular surgeons Ehsan Benrshed, MD, Charles S. Joels, MD and Neelima Katragunta, MD, to the medical staff, Tennova Healthcare - Cleveland can now provide care 24/7 to patients requiring emergency vascular surgery, consults for care of inpatients, and treatment for inpatient vascular emergencies.

“Investing in our neighbors and building lasting relationships is at the center of everything we do,” says JT Barnhart, chief executive officer, Tennova Healthcare - Cleveland. “We are thrilled to have the ability to offer an advanced level of vascular care through a convenient, comprehensive and personalized approach to the service for area residents.”

University Surgical Associates has had an office in Cleveland since 2010 and knows how important vascular care is to the community. Tennova’s support of Bradley County and commitment to serving patients with needed care close to home is now expanded through these vascular services provided by board-certified vascular and vein specialists offering advanced diagnostic and treatment options.

"We're excited about this opportunity that reflects our ongoing commitment to providing excellent vascular care in Cleveland," says Dr. Neelima Katragunta, medical director of Vascular Services at Tennova Healthcare - Cleveland. "We look forward to working even more closely with local providers and the medical team at Tennova to provide high-quality vascular surgical care to this rapidly growing community."

"The new collaboration with University Surgical Associates addresses an important need for more healthcare services in the area and raises awareness for vascular medical conditions," officials said.
