Signal Mountain Police And Fire Departments Hosting Open House June 11

The Signal Mountain Police and Fire Departments are hosting an Open House on Saturday, June 11, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.  The location is 1111 Ridgeway Ave. 

Sparky the Fire Dog will be returning as well as the crash test dummies. Informational demos will be scheduled, such as the residential sprinkler demo and an extrication demo.  Other activities include a fire extinguisher prop, drones, seat belt demonstrator ride, driving simulators and an impairment driving course. 

Police cars and fire trucks will be on display and tours of the facility will be available. There will be photo opportunities, give-away items for the kids and food trucks.  

Officials said, "Come out and meet your law enforcement officers and firefighters and learn more about what they do on a daily basis to keep our community safe."
