WG Cordell
WG Cordell, of LaFayette, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the age of 86.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmuel G. Cordell and Annie Mae Sisemore Cordell, and brother, Edwin Cordell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn Watts Cordell, nephews, Kevin (Penny) Cordell and Vernon (Brenda) Cordell of Lafayette.
WG was a member of Community Baptist Church, LaFayette, and was an avid antique car restorer. He traveled extensively as a long distance truck driver. He loved the outdoors and nature.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Malcom Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Pallbearers are
Dusty Cordell, Kevin Cordell, Vernon Cordell, Steve Coakley, Skylor Bailey and Eddie Sizemore.
The family will receive family and friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. on Battlefield Parkway.
