Jason Alan Goins, 44, of Chattanooga, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2022. He was born on Oct. 6, 1977 in Farmington Hills, Mi. Jason enjoyed working on cars, going camping and being outside. He was a gifted musician who had a beautiful voice and enjoyed playing the guitar and drums. Above all things, Jason loved his children with every ounce of his being. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, John David Goins; and nephew, Jordan Michael.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Debra Ann Goins; brothers, Keith Goins and Douglas Goins; sister, Angela Goins (Christopher South); children, Jacob Goins, Robert Goins and Zachary Goins; nephew, Coty Goins; and uncle, Bobby Goins. In addition to these, he leaves behind many extended family members and friends.
Jason’s family will receive friends at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. on Friday July 29, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 6 p.m.
