U.S. Army Veteran Retired From NDT Volunteer After Many Years

Glen Clifton Brotton, 75, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at his home.

 

He was previously from Akron, Oh., and was a decorated U.S. Army veteran serving as a medic for the 93rd Engineering Battalion during the Vietnam Conflict.  He was retired from NDT Volunteer after 20 plus years of service and was of the Presbyterian faith.

 

Glen’s hobbies were fishing and spending time with his family.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Caroline Brotton and his sister, Beverly Rutherford.

 

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lynn Brotton, children, Mike (Annette) Brotton, Caroline (Joe) Carpenter and John (Julie) Brotton, five grandchildren and several extended family and friends.

 

Graveside services will be held privately.
