Bobby Wayne Brown, 72, of Trenton, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022. He was born May 6, 1950 to the late Jack and Mattie Brown. Bobby was a loving and caring man that loved his family and all his dogs. His passion and involvement in the Tri-State Humane Society will surely be missed. He loved to fish and was a huge Alabama football fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Walker.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Ann Brown; daughter, Sherri (Scott Bard) Goggin, of Athens; step-son, Brian McMahan; step-daughter, Rachel Troxtel; grandchildren, Tom, Kate, Will, Mary and Sam Goggin, of Athens, Reece McMahan and Jaxx McMahan, of Trenton, Ashley Troxtel (Brian Anderson), Braylie Troxtel, of Chattanooga, Raven Jackson, Braden Greenle and Ko Daniels; sisters, Jackie (Earl) Bryant, of Section, Al., Libby (Lon) Eriks, of Rainsville, Al. and Donna (Pete) Russell, of Rainsville, Al.; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton on Thursday, Aug. 11 at 1 p.m., with Brother Hutch Garmany and Lewis Wheeler officiating, after which he will be cremated.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tri-State Humane Society, P. O. Box 715, Trenton, Ga. 30752, to carry on the work Bobby loved so much.
